News on ElderWorking! — Myths

Older workers get sick all the time!  Older workers don't know anything about computers!  Older workers are less productive! These are some of the myths that the folk I call ElderWorkers encounter as they face the job market.  So we need to debunk those myths and provide equal opportunity for seniors who want to work. At this time, when companies are considering how to restructure because of the effect of tariffs, those myths might convince employers that they should retain younger workers, or discount applications from older applicants.
